I wanted to thank everyone who was involved in putting together this release. I have heard that many of you no longer use Sel-IDE. It is my belief that this is still a very valuable tool in a QA engineer’s arsenal. Sel-IDE has helped me provide easy visibility into defects through its ease of use and ability to get automated tests developed quickly.

I completely agree with Dave’s comment. On the VIVO project, our entire Selenium effort is based around Selenium IDE. Our test suite is created and maintained by an non-coder. It currently consists of hundreds of tests with thousands of steps, and it’s all done in Selenium IDE.

We have hundreds of script written in perl using RC …
